The view from the Noise Studios in Valby, Copenhagen, where we met friday at 18:00 hours. Laying down the basic tracks of drums/bass/guitar took most of our saturday Daniel dubbed the tambourine on Don't Stop me while Rasmus dubbed it on I'm Fine Rasmus recorded all vocals first take and then proceeded to do choir, which went on for substantially longer time We forgot a lead guitar recording for Overtone, so Magnus did some last minut recording saturday evening Magnus' Mesa-Boogie amp - delivering the best sound on this side of the galaxy While not recording, Johannes mostly sat around listening to the results Rasmus dubbing some piano on Overtone - tough shite It occurred to us that something was wrong in the outro of Overtone, so Johannes proceeded to map the bassline in order for the piano/strings to fit better in Our wonderful engineer/mixer Mikael was mostly hard at work behind the mixing console Mostly, Daniel, Johannes and Magnus would provide seemingly meaningful input to Mikael as to the direction of the mix Sunday after mixing Overtone, we decided to take a break and went strolling on the street Among other things, the break brought us both relaxation and ice-cream cones At one point saturday, our roadie Lars stopped by to see how things were going. He also helped provide essential edibles Done with the mix - Daniel and Johannes are heading down the stairs from the studio
